Dr. Ed was introduced to chiropractic while in high school when he was playing hockey and had low back pain. He went to his local chiropractor and found great relief of his low back pain while growing an interest for the chiropractic profession at the same time. While in undergrad, Dr. Ed Lozinski worked in that same local chiropractic practice where he took x-rays and performed various tasks around the office, getting experience with the chiropractic office flow. He then attended and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2011. While at Palmer, Dr. Ed took additional elective studies to broaden his base of knowledge and adjusting options. His extra electives were in the areas of Logan Basic, SOT, Activator, Flexion-Distraction, and Thompson Drop. Dr. Ed Lozinski uses the Palmer Package including Gonstead and Diversified techniques in addition to these extra electives. After Palmer, Dr. Ed went to work in a chiropractic clinic in Davenport while his wife, Dr. Jess, was finishing her studies at Palmer. While in undergrad, Dr. Jess Lozinski worked as a physical therapy tech in various therapy settings for 6 years learning as much about rehab as she could. During this time, she was experiencing migraines. The physical therapy clinic was attached to a chiropractic clinic so she went under chiropractic care, getting relief for her migraines in which she had suffered for quite some time. With the great results she had from chiropractic care, she decided to go to Palmer to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. While at Palmer, Dr. Jess discovered that her background as a physical therapy tech would help her to be a better care provider for her patients as a Doctor of Chiropractic addressing the body as a whole unit.
